Leap & Bound Academy's Redondo Beach preschool is a two-story building right off of Pacific Coast Highway on Sapphire Street. The classes divide the two floors by age. Redondo Beach also features a drive-thru drop-off.

There are no other LBA preschools in Redondo Beach.

The most rewarding part of teaching, for Ms. Norma, is seeing a child develop both socially and academically.

    Outside of work, Ms. Norma enjoys running, spending time at the beach and spending time with her family.

Ever since Ms. Megan was a child she knew she would become a teacher.

    Ms. Megan loves being able to watch children smile and have fun while they learn. Ms. Megan enjoys making learning fun for her children by incorporating academics into arts & crafts projects.

    Ms. Megan has been volunteering at schools for over 5 years and worked as a teacher for over 2 years.

    Outside of work, Ms. Megan enjoys camping, off-roading and spending time with friends.

Ms. Danielle

Preschool Class (Ages 3 - 4)


Ms. Danielle became a teacher to help shape children as individuals. Ms. Danielle enjoys teaching the importance of friendship through her “friendship circle”.

    Ms. Danielle was inspired to study Occupational Therapy by her 2 cousins; one who is disabled and one who is on the autism spectrum.

    Ms. Danielle likes to go running and spend time reading when she is not teaching.

Ms. Homeyra has always had a passion for teaching and making an impact on so many lives.

    Ms. Homeyra has a BA in Child Development and Family Consumer. She is also a certified technologist!

Transitional Kindergarten (Ages 4 - 5)


Ms. Lopez values nurturing the needs of the children in her classroom: it’s what she loves most about teaching. Helping her students learn and grow each day makes Ms. Lopez feel fulfilled to be a teacher.

    In college, Ms. Lopez wanted to learn more about early education and took a child development course just for fun. The class helped her learn more about herself and reflect on her own childhood, which made Ms. Lopez decide to pursue a teaching career so she could help positively influence other childhoods.

    In the classroom, Ms. Lopez likes to create individual bonds with each of her children before introducing them into the curriculum. She finds that having a strong bond with her students makes them more comfortable and they have an easier time opening up to learning new skills.

    Outside of teaching, Ms. Lopez enjoys practicing self-meditation in order to have a relaxed and calm outlook on life.

Transitional Kindergarten class (Ages 4 - 5)


Ms. Sue lives by the nutritionist’s motto of eating right and staying active. Her main pastimes are volleyball and zumba, supported by her own fabulous home cooking.

    Ms. Sue has been a preschool teacher for over five (5) years because she knows she can make a difference in every child’s future. Her favorite activity to do with her students is applying math lessons through cooking.

    Out of all the teachers at Redondo Beach, parents most often request for their child to be in Ms. Sue’s class. That’s because she makes a personal connection with everyone who visits her class, especially the students.

    Ms. Sue focuses on imparting lasting skills, so that by the end of the school year, her students can practice independently.

Ms. December became a teacher to make a difference in children’s lives.

    Ms. December brings both the teacher and parent perspective to her teaching. Ms. December has been working with children for over 18 years and has 2 children of her own.

    Ms. December's favorite activities to do with her class are; circle time, writing letters and writing numbers.

    When Ms. December is not teaching, she enjoys shopping, party planning and arts & crafts.

Kindergarten class (Ages 5 - 6)


Ms. Liliana has practiced her love of child development for over fifteen (15) years. Her favorite part of the job is seeing a child blossom into a confident learner.

    Ms. Liliana has a passion for language, especially the artistic side. This leads to a class focused on phonics: Her students excel at understanding words and growing their vocabulary.

    After they've got the basics, they move on to storytelling and interactive discussions. Sharing original thoughts is a gateway to higher learning. Ms. Liliana also emphasizes being responsible and good citizens.

    In her spare time, she likes to read books, watch movies, and to knit and crochet.
